How long have you been in business?
Privé Events started in 2011!

What made you start Glow Events?
I was born an entrepreneur! You couldn’t have stopped me from opening an event planning business even if you tried! I love planning events and especially weddings and birthday parties because then I get to be part of someone’s most special day of their lives so far!  I decided to merge with Privé Events in 2018 and the merger has strengthened our team and given us even more resources to help our Brides.

What is your favorite part of owning your own business?
I love the influence I get to have on people.  I think it is so important to share love with everyone you meet and owning my own business expands those opportunities.

Who is your ideal client? Who inspires you in your design?
Our ideal client is someone who is extremely excited about their wedding but can still trust us to handle the details.  I get inspired by each of my couples.  I believe it is very important for each wedding to reflect their character and not be a generic scene that anyone could be plopped into.

Describe the process of working with you.  How would a couple interact with you from start to finish?
The process is a combination of technology and coffee.  Some things, like payment or questions are handled online.  But when it is time to inspire or crank out details, I love meeting over a hot cup of jo!

What trends are inspiring to you right now?
I love the “this is my wedding and I’ll do what I want” trend! Unless a tradition really resonates with you, why do it?

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Well…I am veryyyyyy allergic to dairy, so I can’t have  normal people ice cream. But out of the dairy-free flavors I like Ben and Jerry’s cookie peanut butter flavor!

Where would you most like to travel?
I just came back from New Orleans (I highly recommend it!) so next up on my list is Seattle (more coffee please)!
